The Carnival celebrations at Casino da Madeira promise four nights of great entertainment. Carnival, so deeply rooted in Madeira’s tradition through its parties, parades and themed nights, gains new shine with the special programme prepared by the Casino. Everything begins on Friday, the 13th, with the show The Peacock at Bahia, followed by the themed party Coyote Girls at Copacabana and the iconic Roda de Samba at the Garden.
On Saturday, the 14th, Copacabana presents the night I Love Baile Funk, featuring a hot selection of tracks by André Henriques and Gonçalo Roque, while the Garden hosts an exclusive performance by Rob Di Stefano, founder of the Twisted label, in a back‑to‑back set with our own Michael C.
On Monday, the traditional Hippie Night celebrates peace, love and music, with DJ Mojo and Márcio Jesus at Copacabana, and Michael C and Pita at the Garden.
The festivities come to a close on Friday, the 20th, with another edition of Ladies Fever and the Funk Me I’m Famous party at Copacabana, featuring DJ Luís Gonçalves.
It is important to note that costumes are allowed on these special nights, with the exception of sportswear, including football shirts from clubs or national teams.
